The Saudi Work Visa is required for foreign nationals seeking employment in Saudi Arabia. The visa is employer-sponsored and is linked to a specific job with a registered Saudi company. The process has been modernized under Vision 2030 reforms.

How It Works

1. Saudi employer obtains a work permit from the Ministry of Human Resources
2. Employer applies for a visa block through MOFA
3. Employee receives a visa authorization number
4. Employee submits documents at Saudi embassy/consulate in home country
5. Medical examination and biometrics
6. Visa issuance (2-4 weeks)
7. Upon arrival: Iqama (residence permit) processing
